The Annual School Sports Meet was celebrated with great pomp and intense enthusiasm on the adjacent ground on 22 December, 2022. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Local Councillor, representatives of other schools and other guests from different walks of life. We believe sports and games are an essential part of everyone’s life, especially the youth, to maintain not only physical strength and agility but also a sound mind. It felt good to see all our students fresh and happy on the winter morning, excited to display their talents. The programme started with lighting the torch followed by a very colourful opening dance which was truly a treat for the eye. It was truly enjoyable to see the little kids taking part in events like sum race, flower basket race, spoon race and so on. The Karate show by the junior students was really worth watching. The faces of the winners of various events lit up when they were standing on the victory stands to receive their medals in front of the proud and happy parents. The seniors, boys and girls separately, took part in flat races, relay races and were awarded medals. There were special competitions for the teachers as well as the guardians. The programme ended with a brilliant drill show with innovative formations by the senior students.
